Disposal of waste plastic is always a problem. But it is no longer a problem and its credit goes to Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE), Tirupparankuram, Madurai as the institute has evolved a new technology known as bitumen technology where by waste plastic, ranging from polybags to biscuit packets, can be used with bitumen for constructing roads.
