A Gujarat policeman who is a Sub-inspector by designation was on duty at Dindoli area in Surat city on the occasion of 'Vishwakarma Poojan' on September 19 this year. While being on duty at that area, he had joined stage with a bar dancer. The whole episode was video-graphed on mobile phone and has now been circulated on WhatsApp three months later. The video has gone viral which shows the Sub-inspector shaking a leg with the dancer and showering money on her. An inquiry has been initiated against the police Sub-Inspector. It is nice to know that the higher authority is looking into the matter but at the same time it is very unfortunate that the nasty act of the accused remained unnoticed so long  to the higher authority who have been rather compelled to wake up by the video.
