In an attempt to revive the dwindling company Warner Brothers has created a new app on Facebook allowing users to rent their movies. The company is doing this because people are no longer buying DVDs and Warner Brothers needed a new platform to sell videos. Right now the company has only posted two movies "The Dark Knight" and "The Notebook", but they say that they will be posting more in the future. The movies cost 30 Facebook credits which costs about three dollars. I am surprised that more production companies aren't taking advantage of this golden opportunity. Facebook has millions of people on it daily and is ideal for any company trying to get some exposure. These new apps are perfect for selling your content without doing much work. All companies have to do is create the app and post it on their page and they will make money instantly.
