Yesterday President of India, Pranab Mukherjee personally visited the former prime minister of India as well as senior BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee in a break from tradition, and conferred the Bharat Ratna award on him in a simple ceremony held at the residence of Shri Vajpayee which was attended by our present prime minister, defence minister and some others.
