Spain's Prime Minister attacked while campaigning.

It is reported that Spain's 60-year-old Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy who was walking through the city of Pontevedra on the latest stop of his push for re-election in Sunday polls was attacked by a 17-year-old youth who punched him in the face on the left side breaking his glasses. Rajoy campaigning for the ruling conservative Popular Party was, however, fine and had continued his walk through the city. The alleged aggressor had been detained by Police. It is, however, learnt that the youth wanted to know why the premier had not resigned over corruption allegations that have swirled since he took office in 2011.
