Sprout Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups bean sprouts (washed and drained)
  • 1 capsivarh, cut into strips
  • 4 red radishes, sliced
  • 3/4 cup sliced spring onions
  • For seasoning:
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil or salad oil
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. Soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • Salt and pepper according to taste
  • For the garnish:
  • 1/2 teacup black olives or stuffed olives
  • 1 tomato, cored and sliced into rings
 

COOKING DIRECTIONS

For the dressing shake the ingredients thoroughly in a closed bottle.

Mix the bean sprouts, capsi/var/www/h, radishes and spring onions in a bowl. Put in the refrigerator.

Just before serving, pour the dressing over the salad and toss.

Serve cold, garnished with tomato rings on the top.
