The Supreme Court of India on Monday accepted major recommendations of Justice R M Lodha panel on structural reforms in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Apex Court has accepted the Lodha panel recommendation that "no minister or serving bureaucrat can be member of the BCCI board". As a cricket lover, we firmly believe that this revolutionary ruling of the Apex Court of the country would bring transparency in the functioning of the BCCI and make it accountable to the people.
