The Island of Yakushima is situated in Japan. It has an area of approximately 504.5 square kilometers. It was ruled by shimazu clan. The population on of yakushima is 13,178. The area is approximately 504 square kilometers. The only large animal is sika deer. The rest are small animal in that island. There are dolphins found offshore. It is very famous for vegetation. The island is very highly polluted. They are affected by burning of coal and automobile exhaust. It is a green island. It has full greenery around it. Many types of trees and plants are found in that island. There are number of hot spring on the island. There are various varieties of endemic flowers. It has a hot and humid climate. In some occasions it has mild winds. Main work of the people is the exportation of woods. The wood found in that island is sold on a very high rate. The wood comes in various uses. Cultivation of oranges and tea. The land is of granite, so there are no possibilities of volcano. Trees cutting are strictly prohibited. More than 300000 tourists come and visit the island. Many of the medicines are made by the trees and plants found in that island.
