The Pitch: Episode 1-2:

(Continuing from our last blog, this is the second episode of our proposed 8 episode test 'season'. What say you?)

Episode 1-2: Byrons of Booze; Literary Bars of the West Village.

In this hilarious episode of The Happy Hour Guys, Mark and Jimmy pretend that they can actually string words together. Well, drink orders are words, aren’t they? They do their best to avoid mixing metaphors as they make their way through New York City’s West Village and some of the most literate bars in the world, including the White Horse Tavern (Dylan Thomas), the Ear Inn (Jack Kerouac), Kettle of Fish (Norman Mailer, Bob Dylan), and Pete’s Tavern (O. Henry).

Mark, ‘feeling his Irish’, does an impromptu poetry reading at each venue: The only question is, which bar will throw him out first?
