I don’t have all day so I’ll make it short, around a page or so. I just want to tell everyone that being me is not easy.

 Even in weekends I have little time for myself, I mean in the morning I’m in a fight gym run by a friend. He teaches various martial arts but I love to do Kali due to its potency and safety. I also planned to do boxing but I think I’ll past until I’m fit enough. My friends often joked that I’m too small to try martial arts. And guess what, they are right.

Now martial arts are not just my life. After getting hooked with Harry Potter books I decided that I love to write novels myself. Back then during high-school this was just a wild dream, considering the scarcity of publishers in the Philippines. Thank goodness for internet and now I could publish my work online, and I could reach to some publishers through e-mail. My dream of becoming a published author is alive and well, though I’m yet to produce a competitive novel. Whenever I have a free time I’ll lock myself in my room and starts writing. To start with I’ll do flash fictions and Wattpad stories first.

But I also have a day job. I work as an engineer in an air-conditioning company and I’m not planning to quit my work anytime soon. My job is both a source of income and a social life.

Being an engineer, a writer and Kali practitioner at a same time requires a bit of insanity. It is like trying to chase three rabbits or swim in three rivers at the same time.  Maybe it is just me, or I just love to try stuffs. And if I’m not careful I might try arts and open a gallery!
