Vector W8

Posted on at

The Vector W8 was originally a sports car which was produced from the years 1989 up to 1993. It was brilliantly manufactured by the Vector Aeromotive, and was beautifully designed by David Kostka and Gerald Wiegert. The company claimed that the finest, newest and most fine advanced aerospace materials were used in building the W8 cars, which they boldly said it justified applying the car the term "Aeromotive Engineering". Mere 19 W8 cars were produced which included 17 customer cars and two other pre-production cars, namely the prototype W2, and other two prototype Avtech WX-3 and a AWX3R with a 7.0 liter DOHC TT engine. A total of 22 vehicles were produced by the Vector Aeromotive Company over the entire life of the company. The Vector car was originally sold at retail price for up to $455,000 USD. The car came with a sturdy honeycomb semi-monocoque, which attributed it with mind blowing strength capabilities, making it ideal for long runs.
