Veterinarian in the making

Posted on at

I thought it hard and long before I finally decided to enter into becoming a veterinary professional. Its been two years that I have been out of track from human medicine that I initially got interested in. I was wondering why, I just can't get beyond first year of human medical school. Now I just realized that I don't actually like people, but because of my interest in medicine I always thought that going to human medical studies is the only way to practice medicine. Little did I know that its not, 'till lately.

I was born and raised in a farm, surrounded with farm animals, not too many people other than the member of my family. The animals in our farm were far too many than the people around me at that time. I grew up isolated from the human species except in occasional times when my family will go to the town far away from us, conducting religious business and some trade ins for our farm products such as vegetables, fruit and in some rare cases one of our animals.

I did not realized that I grew up loving animals. In fact i love cats more than human. Human being that I love are my husband, mother, father, brother and few more. The rest I just don't like them.

So, our recent weekend trip to Czech Republic was the first of our many trips around the world. And in every trip, it is my desire to visit the zoo and get to know animals. Here are some of the animals I've meet in Prague zoo.
