Will Pugh Film Shoot

I managed to get on Will Pugh's shoot and i was taking stills for him on the day but i also did other various tasks throughout the day. The 1st day started at 7AM in the morning and because of me driving through the day the day didn't finish until 9PM at night. the second day started at 7AM and didn't finished for me until 2AM in the morning because we had finished and Josh Evans had missed his train so i volunteered to take him home to lichfield. I didn't mind doing it as i felt he would have been stranded otherwise. The set was on a farm and it was in the middle of the woods. i helped out with clapper and also spent some time with camera assist. i learnt a lot from observing and watching how each person did there own role. i did at some points find myself coming back to the cars to get items that had been forgotten and helping problem solving. i felt that later on in the shoot everyone had started to bond and i felt that the following day on the shoot would be really good as the team had a good spirit. we managed to achieve all the shots for that day with hardly any problems. for the second day we did find ourself with a problem with the sound which made me realise that on the day you should always check out the sound of a location because on the day there is no turning back. We had an issue with planes and engine sounds. from face value you would not expected them sort of issues. I did spot one issue with the actor not having blood on his hands and i questioned it and there did incorporate the blood on to them. i have learnt over time that i am quite observent with continuity which i feel is a good trait to have during a film set. We also had a scene where the actor had to chuck a bottle across the set and it broke, luckily they didn't need that item again but they didn't think that possibility could have happened.take photographs during the day allowed me to observe the crew in more depth than before. the use of cars that day were very useful to as the cast needed moving from one side of the farm to the other. The set did feel very professional and it ran very smoothly, there were a fair share of problems along the way but we overcame them as a team to make a good production.
