World Content Market

Posted on at

This week I have been in Prague because I was asked to speak about filmmaking at the World Content Market. From there I will be traveling to Switzerland so I thought I would share some thoughts and observances from Europe.

Prague is attempting to be the first TV market in europe and so far it's
working. Lots of buyers and sellers like AFM, but with one big
difference..well..make that two...
1. price
2. attitude.

It's cheap here compared to the mighty Lowes in Santa Monica, CA...about $1200
USD per booth...and the staff is actually nice..and willing to help even
after they get your money. Prague is a fine place for filmmakers to
network, but it will take time to develop but not too much time. The hotels
are reasonable at $50 USD per night and a great dinner is about $8 bucks...and
check it out...if your need to track down a buyer..go to the World Content
market and the staff will actually call them for you..WOW.

More later on the Switzerland film community as I arrive this weekend.
