Picture Detail

One of the most successful live action films in Japanese history has finally been released in Indonesia in the middle of this week. The story of the Battousai himself becoming increasingly attractive after the film won much praise from various circles. Curious? Let's see Yangmuda wrote his review!

Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno is a live action film adaptation of the manga of the same title. Yangmuda itself may already be watching the first film released in 2012 is now the story of Kenshin Himura (Takeru Satoh) continues to fight the enemies in the past, Makoto Shishio (Tatsuya Fujiwara).

The film is preceded by the appearance of the figure of Makoto Shishio antagonist with some of his men, one of whom Seta Sōjirō (Ryunosuke Kamiki) who massacred some members of the police force, led by Hajime Saito (Yosuke Eguchi) in order to reduce the movement of Shishio who want to overthrow the Meiji Era. Shishio itself was a samurai who had fought with Kenshin 10 years earlier at the turn of the Tokugawa era to the Meiji Era, but because it is considered as a very sadistic killer, Shishio being burned alive at the time. But he was able to survive and determined to avenge the new government.

Shishio own movement forced the government to ask for help from Battōsai legend. Kenshin himself was on the verge of doubt whether he should again be a butcher or keep hold of his promise not to kill and use the sword to protect many people. Shishio role in the mind-war in this film was very dominant and quite successful. Cruelty that he designed eventually forced Kenshin to go to Kyoto.

In this second sequel, Keishi Ohtomo as the director managed to polish some deficient conditions in Rurouni Kenshin movie (2012). This is evident from the success story of the packing and important character in the manga to the Live-Action movie. Some of the characters that appear in the first sequel also has its share of story and character development in this film as a balanced, Kaoru Kamiya (Emi Takei), Sagara Sanosuke (Munetaka Aoki), Megumi Takani (Yu Aoi), and Yahiko Myojin (Tanaka Taketo). Instead some other central character is also presented in this film such as, Shinomori Aoshi (Yusuke Iseya), Makamachi Misao (Tao Tsuchiya), and Kashiwazaki Nenji (Min Tanaka).

Another interesting thing from this movie than the first film is also visible from the side of the dominant art material with enough effects to make the eyes stunned the audience in awe. Yangmudacom own team like the fight scene between Kenshin with Sōjirō, although the scene is not more than 5 minutes, but Ryunosuke Kamiki able to portray the figure as a figure Sōjirō butcher with an innocent expression.

Even if there were be criticized in this film may be to some scenes and plots are made differently than the anime version. Call it how past Aoshi until he was obsessed kill Kenshin, and the presence of the men Shishio, Juppongatana, which is referred to as the sword 10. Not to mention there are some scenes that are less able to build the core of the story that makes the film such duration of 135 minutes wasted.

But it feels is understandable, because it was not easy to bring all the characters in the manga with the exact same story on every character in it. Therefore, do not be surprised if the film is packaged in 2 parts where it goes Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends will be released within a fairly close time span, ie in October in Japan.

Overall Inferno Kyoto became one decent movie you watch on this week. As one of the live action films, this film also gives a very good quality and quite humane in the presentation as well as the proximity to the adaptation of the film. I give 4.5/5 for Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno. Well, you let baseball more curious, straight to watch this movie before the release of the next sequel.
