I used to spend my time browsing profiles on social media sites like facebook and instagram during my idle time. Liking, sharing and commenting on the members' posts were what I mostly did but there came a point when I thought my time was not spent wisely. I liked visiting those sites but I would like to earn whenever I use the internet so I searched for other sites that pay their members. Thankfully, I found Bitlanders. I still consider myself a noob in this site eventhough I registered five months ago. Only four weeks ago did I become an active member. In my case, all is going well so far. I am enjoying the moments when I log-in to my bitlanders account. My experience may be different from yours and you may agree or disagree with me but I would just like to share my own thoughts. Joining this site taught me a lot of things and I'm having a great time preserving the memories and learnings that I can get from this site. So, I have listed the ten features that I love about Bitlanders and here they go.
1. FUNCTIONAL SITE

As of now, I don't have a laptop or personal computer so I am only using my Kindle Fire HD and Iphone5 to navigate Bitlanders. I use the mobile app in my Iphone while I use the Silk browser in my Kindle. The site is easy to use on both of my gadgets enabling me to return to the site any time. The Main Menu Navigation Labels such as the Leaderboard, Charity Leaderboard, Inventory, My Content Flow, My Videos, My Blogs, My Microblogs, My Galleries, Inbox, Earn More, My Rewards, Preferences, FAQs, About and Logout are short, simple, accurate, concise and easy to understand. They are not confusing at all and the things that a beginner must know are all clearly displayed inside those labels. The Homepage also invites social engagement with other users and the things that a user needs such as Quests Box, Microblogs Creation, Notifications, Bitlanders Shop, Search Engine and other features of this site are accessible.
2. INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT
Not only is the site friendly but the users as well. On my first day, I'm glad Micky and Hillary were there to guide me. They were very helpful and their presence made me feel that I was not lost in opening my own account. I followed their step-by-step instructions, roamed around the Bitlanders interface and completed the tasks. The environment was welcoming. I felt happy and appreciated because some users even buzzed and commented on my first post.
During that time, I have also observed that members come from all parts of the globe carrying with them their own distinct personalities, races, behaviours, religions, languages and own beliefs. I don't know the members personally but through their comments and posts, I was amazed of how they treat one another with concern, love and respect. From the other sites that I am a member of, there were a lot of bashers and haters especially of famous people. But in Bitlanders, when I opened the pages of the people who were on the leaderboard, the other members who buzzed and commented on their posts were good-natured and approachable .
The day after opening my own account, unfortunately I was not active. But four weeks ago, I decided to give it a serious try. As time went on, I noticed that most of the users were still very accomodating. Through them, I have learned how to interact with different people using the tips they have shared. They were not selfish. In my own microblogs, some users commented using stickers while some gave positive feedbacks which inspired me to do my best. Even if I don't know them personally, I can imagine their personalities based on their posts. They inform, help, assist, teach and continue to inspire others to perform well.
In my four weeks of being active, I have seen posts from other users that were not pleasing to the eyes. In the beginning, I thought there were no haters or people saying negative things about other users but my impression was wrong. Haters still exist in this site but there are only a few compared in other sites I visited. I think it's because there are more members in other social media sites than in Bitlanders. The positive thing is the atmosphere in Bitlanders is more peaceful unlike in other sites with thousands of people sharing negative vibes. Now, I rarely visit those two sites I first mentioned in my introduction because I prefer to use Bitlanders. My day is not complete without doing the quest and visiting the pages of different members of Bitlanders. Also, it now became my daily habit to socialize with the users of this site.
3. EFFECTIVE DESIGN AND MESSAGE
The content of Bitlanders for me has a balance between design and message. The marketing message of Bitlanders is clear to me: a platform that pay its users for posting original content and social media activities. It is organized, coherent and easy to understand. For me, the appearance is effective because the design is clean, stylish, and the graphics do not distract. The company logo is also very prominent and the texts are easy to read. I think the avatar concept helps a lot because it encourages the users to be creative in choosing the best avatar that fits their style and personality. The color-scheme is appealing, eye-catching, attractive, and pleasing to look at and the blue color conveys happiness and calmness.
4. SHORT LOADING TIME
The site only takes less than 5 seconds to load so for me it is a turn on. But sometimes a white page would appear with an avatar on it that says "Whooops.. The requested content is not available. Error code: server timeout. >Back to Homepage<" and "Service Not Available." There are glitches but the site will always go back to its normal state after a while and the loading time is still digestible.
5. SUPPORTIVE TEAM
I have noticed that users are being updated with the latest events happening in bitlanders by some users through their blogs or microblogs if the other users didn't get the news shared by the admin.
Sir @francesco, @micky-the-slanted salerno, @LrY, @kRs and other admin staffs of Bitlanders are sometimes active in global chat. This is also a way so that the users can communicate with them. I have learned that micky-the-slanted-salerno is the adviser of this site. As I write this, I checked Micky's blog and his latest blog was three days ago. It's good to know that he keeps his blog posted to inform users of their updates and rewards. I love that Bitlanders continuously provide us with their useful, precise and informative content.
6. SECURITY

Hackers are everywhere but whenever I use this site, I feel safe and protected. Bitlanders established rules to protect both the company and its users. I believe that they provided safety measures to ensure that no accounts will be put to danger especially when withdrawing funds. In case of problems, a user can contact the Bitlanders team via email at cs@bitlanders.com.
7. ORIGINAL CONTENT
Here in Bitlanders, duplicate content is forbidden. I'm happy that I can share what I want as long as it's not against their policy. I believe that my posts are like my own voice showing my qualities so I should show the real me and not copy others. The first blog I wrote which is entitled "Will you marry a person you have never met?" made me realize that in order to receive a higher rating I should follow the suggestions of Hillary. After reviewing my content, Hillary told me this:
I reviewed your blog post 'Will you marry a person you have never met?'! Your post was a quality one! Your post was exhaustive, not too long and not too short! Post more like this one! The language you used was simple but effective... The tags you chose were OK, even though you could have done better! The presentation of your post was not the best... I think you could add more/better pictures, make it more readable by using paragraphs, bold the important words, add quotes, links, or embedded videos! Overall, I rated it 3 stars out of 5. You're post was quite good, but there is always room for improvement! I will forward it around to some of your fellow Bitlanders, I am sure they will be interested. Follow my suggestions and you'll do even better next time!
I value her criticism because it keeps me motivated and challenged to do my best. Right-attitude, patience, out-of-the box thinking, dedication, and hard work are required so I have to do my homework very well. Also, I have learned that the best way to earn more in this site to get buzz bonuses and buzzscore is to submit original and quality content for review.
8. CALL TO ACTION

If other users do not follow the rules, others who have seen their posts are free to report them because cheaters and spammers are not allowed. I love that I can complain against those who don't follow the established rules but what I'm not happy about is that I can see promoted contents that are sexually inclined. I have seen women with their sexy outfits showing some of their private parts. I have reported several photos multiple times however those pictures did not disappear from the site. Other users and I don't like that kind of photos. Those photos do not speak well of the site so they should be rejected before being posted. If Bitlanders will be more strict in implementing those guidelines, we will be a lot happier. I'm not sure if this will affect the rating that I will get from this blog but since this is my blog, I'm allowed to say what I'm thinking of and I'm sure Bitlanders will listen and solve the problem as well. :)
9. DONATION AND SHOPPING ITEM
It is a happy experience to share part of what I earn to the people who need it the most. I'm glad that Bitlanders has this feature of donating to bitcharities because it gives me the confidence that I am not just interacting with others and creating my original contents but also giving money to the less fortunate. We all win. Me, the Bitlanders team and the people to whom I have donated my hard-earned money.

I also love that I can buy items such as Avatar Clothes, Avatar Accessories, Gadgets, Stickers and Gems from the Bitlanders Shop. It's like in the real world where I have to weigh which is more important to buy. It helps me to think wisely.
10. LEGIT
At first I questioned the integrity of this site but later on I found out after continuous research that this site is trustworthy, responsive, credible and reliable. I made the right decision in opening an account. The company is a good-paying site and through that I believe it earned the loyalty of other users including me. When I opened my account, bitcoin was the form of payment but now it is paypal and payza. I am hoping that Bitlanders will go back to paying bitcoins. As of the moment, I did not yet reach the minimum amount to withdraw any payment because I just started but I will try harder so that next time I will be able to post my earnings.

Overall Experience
The things that I have mentioned above are only my personal thoughts and experiences from this site. I also added a few things that I didn't like because they are related to what I was referring to. Overall, I am a satisfied user because Bitlanders earned my trust. They know my needs as a user proven by the ten things I have enumerated above and through these, they have exceeded my expectation. Although the site is experiencing some glitches right now, I believe that through innovation, creativity and resourcefulness of the people behind this site, these problems will be gone. There's more to come from this site and I'm excited about this. My journey in this site as a newbie is a happy one because I know I'm part of a winning team.
