"31 Days of Breast Cancer Discovery" is a series of featuring  daily informative videos throughout the month of October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Presented in association with Beth Israel Medical Center.  Dr. Susan K. Boolbol, the Chief of Breast Surgery,  it discusses a various topics about how you can reduce your risk of cancer and how to get the best medical treatment if you are diagnosed with the disease.

In Day 17's video Dr. Boolbol explores some of the myths about radiation. She explains that the amount of radiation during a mammogram to be able to get an X-Ray of the breast is very small and therefore should not be a reason for a woman not to be screened.
