Microsoft at E3
Sometimes you feel like, you wanna be like a video game programmer, or a graphics artist, perhaps. The other times, you feel like you are the exact guy slashing the enemies into two. How about getting to know these gaming events? These might help you how these games are created and how to get a profession in the field of video game development.
Game Developers Conference (GDC)
If you have never heard this event before, Game Developers Conference is the annual gathering of game developers where all share their knowledge including tutorials. Who are the attendees of this big event? All professionals in the arts of developing interactive games including game programmers, designers, and audio masters are all regulars in the event.
Just like E3, Game Developers Conference also hosts Expos.
This year’s event will be held in March, 2015.
Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)
If there is an event that all dedicated gamers are all aware of, it is Electronic Entertainment Expo or commonly known as E3. This year’s event, E3 will take place at Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
Just like the tradition, major game developers like Activision, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will showcase their upcoming game releases through trailers and demo gameplays. Unluckily, most of the spectators are from media covering video games.
This year’s event will be held in June, 2015.
EGX 
Formerly known as the Eurogamer Expo, EGX is regularly held somewhere in United Kingdom, specifically in London. EGX enables game designers for game consoles and PC games to showcase their game- related products.
Retro and indie games are always welcome in the event. Notable partners in this event include the competitors in the consoles wars- Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony.
Call of Duty: Advance Warfare at EGX
Global Gaming Expo Asia
If there is Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), there is Global Gaming Expo Asia as well. Global Gaming Expo is the largest gaming event in Asia enabling various companies to showcase their latest products. This year, the event will take place in Macao in May, 2015. Unlike other event, Global Gaming Expo generally hosts casino- related game. Konami, a popular name in the video game market was present last year.
Tokyo Game Show
Let’s just say Tokyo Game Show is the japanese version of Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) but of course, the event is near- exclusive for Japanese games.
The event admits general audience on it last couple of days. So if you are Tokyo for a vacation in September, try visiting the event.
