In an effort to eat a more nutritious, I made myself a chef salad today for lunch and it was awesome. Don't get me wrong though, a big part of me wanted some french fries and a big greasy burger, but I'm trying to stay away from meats as much as possible, especially red meats, my body just doesn't react well to it. I'm seriously entertaining the idea of becoming a vegetarian, but I need to familiarize myself with the options available to me. I did by a protein shake mix in order to get my fill of protein. I know it's going to take a lot of self-discipline, but I feel it's important to my long-term health......back to work!!
