The Chuuk Lagoon may look like a tropical heaven, but this place has a dark secret. Under the clear blue water lies one of the world’s biggest graveyards of ships. During the Second World War, this place served as the main base for China in South Pacific. Over sixty warships sank in the water of lagoon. This place is well known amongst the scuba divers and the second name for Chuuk Lagoon is Truk lagoon. Many divers visit this place to explore the great piece of history offered by this place. There are innumerable skulls that are found on the shipwreck in blue lagoon. One can even witness the Porcelain dishes from the wreck of the World War II vessel of Fujikawa.

Many of the divers believe that this place is haunted. One of the famous American television show “Destination Truth”, have done an underwater ghost hunt here and have even found many traces of paranormal activity. The clear water gives you a beautiful scene of the marine world. All the diving lovers enjoy scuba diving in the Chuuk Lagoon.
