Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers has won this years National League Cy Young Award for the best pitcher in the league. Kershaw also won in 2011 and 2013 so he is only the 6th pitcher to win 3 Cy Young awards in 4 seasons. It helped that he threw his first no-hitter this year.
The Dodgers' ace received all 30 first-place votes in balloting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America. The Cincinnati Reds' Johnny Cueto finished second and the St. Louis Cardinals' Adam Wainwright finished third.
