II. THE FALL OF THE “WALL”, AND THE RISE OF THE “WEB”

1. Internet Explosion

The explosion of the internet has conquered walls, broken boundaries, and bridged gaps or divisions. In addition, some tyrant rules were ousted and overthrown recently with the help of the internet or social media to be specific. It is because the internet is the most rapid and flexible, yet easiest, avenue to spread information and “black propagandas”.

The internet allowed us to reach the globe with no limits. We have travelled to the ends of the earth even without riding planes and ships. The internet is a highway that connects families, friends and other groups around the world. Information has overloaded the internet. Wealth can now be transferred from one side of the earth to the other side. Our economic zone shall be exclusive no more. Wealth can be gathered to the Philippines from everywhere on earth even without measuring a geographical territory.
