Hindi Divas (Hindi Day):

Posted on at

I am writing a blog on Hindi but in English. Problem is that I want to
reach to the people who speak English but know Hindi very well. I always
think that In China everybody speak Chinese and in Germany everybody speak
German, in Russia Russian, In England English etc. but why in
India(Hindustan) not everybody speaks Hindi. We are writing Hindi in
Facebook, Twitter but that too with Roman character what is happening. Now
prime minister came in India who speak Hindi at all the platform. And we as
Indians see the people with low eye who speak Hindi that is the bad thing.
We should proudly speak and proudly accept a person who speak Hindi. Hindi
should be promoted at government level. Hindi is our national language and
everybody should know and speak in Hindi. Also I would say what is
responsibility of one Indian towards its own national language? I am not
asking to speak Sanskrit aligned Hindi. I am asking you to speak the Hindi
which you are listening and speaking since your childhood but due to shame
associated with Hindi which has been part of Indian life, you people have
left it. But I can’t understand why one should feel shame to speak in Hindi
which is your national language and in which you speak with your elder in
your family. We should feel shame when our children can’t understand
sattassi (Eighty seven) in Hindi. English should be taught and learned but
Hindi should not be forgotten and should not be seen as inferior
