A bowl of salad with meal keeps you active and Healthy....

 people who eat salad daily are healthy than others who don t.

salad contains fibers,vitamins,Antioxidants,proteins,calcium and potassium.

 I use to hate salad and all the raw veggies.,but by trying variations and new methods of making salad made me try once..

   Fiber:

      Eating fiber at lower age lowers the risk of developing heart disease at later age.Eating veggies. in salad keeps your digestive tract healthy.It also keeps blood Sugar in control.Men should get 38 Grams and women should get 25 Grams of daily fiber intake!!.

Anti Oxidants:

       Many ingredients in salad contain vit. c and vit. A in the form of antioxidants.Carrots have 100 percent supply of vit. A.Other vegetables include Tomato,broccoli, etc.lettuce have 88% of vitamin A.

Protein:

Protein supply essential for our body as they are not stored.Leafy vegetables have lot of protein in it.You can choose a Low fat cheese and add meat like turkey or chicken in small portion to avoid those calories..Add some beans or dry nuts to make your salad more protein filled.

 

Dressing:

Our body needs dietary fats.We can get it by adding vegetable oil to absorb all the vitamins.if we add olive oil,canola or bean oil,flax seed oil we can even get omega 3 fatty acid.

  FRUIT SALAD

 

My Favorite salad. it helps me to be in shape!! Providing full  Nutrition and a balanced Diet..
