Water A Source of Life!!

Save water before it is too late.

Water as we all know is very precious source of life!!We need water for everything to cook food,washing clothes,utensils,face,teeth,hair etc.

This is the fact everybody knows i hope...

But let us discuss things we have ignored about water..We have stopped caring for water.

we talk a lot about saving but never do it Our self.

SOURCE OF WATER:

Community water system obtain water from surface and ground water.Mainly it comes from rainwater,glaciers.

In petrology,They noticed that there are some kinds of rock which allows water to penetrate in it.Granite rocks despite of it's small size

and cohesion still allows water to move in small pores.

Scientist confirms that Earth is source of water

Strangest thing is that dust is full of pores but it does n't allow water to pass through it.

But when it mixes with water it becomes source of life for plants..Source of spring is also Rain water and not the sea.

Nowadays scientist are finding new source of water for future and that is the high mountains where God almighty have stored sweet to drink.

Nearly 3/4 Th of earth is covered with water.

The two sources of water are :

surface water and ground water..

Surface water is easily contaminated with animal waste and human activity.We throw all our cans and food wrappers in the sea or beach.But by treating

it we can remove hazards from it.It can be safe for drinking.

Ground water is found underground generally obtained from well.It has some microbiological problems and may contain harmful minerals too.

Treatment is required for it.

CHEMISTRY OF WATER:

Water is an inorganic polar compound. H2O is the well known chemical formula we all know.It means 2 molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen.As we all know that oxygen is very important to live.

water has high surface tension that is why some bugs cannot walk on water,because they weigh less than the surface tension of water.This happens because the molecules of water stick and clump with each other due to their shape.This is the reason water comes together in the form of drops.If gravity was not there water would be in the form of sphere..!!

Talking about water how can we forget " WATER CYCLE"

Bernard Palissy was the first to discover water cycle in (1580 Ce).

It describes how water evaporates from the earth's surface and rises from the atmosphere.Cools and condenses into rain and clouds and falls again to the surface

as precipitation.The water falling on land collects in river and lakes and in rocks.And much of it flows back to ocean where it will once more evaporate.The cycling of water in out of water is the aspect of weather patterns on earth...CONDENSATION,EVAPORATION AND PRECIPITATION process of water cycle.

CRISIS OF WATER:

World is facing shortage of water and we are least bothered of our activities.It is the gift of nature don't take it for granted .You will cry one day when it will be completely

gone.

Water crisis is the lack of sufficient available water.It affects every continent and around 2.8 billion people around the world at least one month every year.more than 1.2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water.

Availability of water is reducing day by day.Fresh water among the 70 % of water is only 2.5 %,the rest is saline and ocean based.Only 1 %of fresh water is easily accessible!!.

NASA data tells us about how world is running out of water..

More than Thirty-Seven Largest Earth's aquifers are being depleted.

Twenty-one aquifers from China and India to France and United States have passed their sustainability tipping points.,means more water was removed then replaced.

Researchers pointed out a long term problem that would most probably worsen as the reliance on aquifer increases.

Underground aquifers supply 35% of water used by people world wide,and in drought demand is more.

The world 's most stressed aquifer meaning suffering from rapid depletion is of Arabian aquifers.Water source used by 60 million people.followed by Indus Basin

in India and Pakistan then the Murzuk basin in Libya and Niger.

Fresh water is costly and requires a lot of energy.Human population is increasing and so are our problems.resources needed are less than our needs.

The cave is revered of Hindu.worships in front of ice stalagmite in a cave in Kashmir.They believe it is the sign of lord Shiva The ice of stalagmite is melting due to climate change and also because of the body heat of lot of people.Rich visitors reach their by taking a flight of helicopter.

8 Rivers dry due to overuse.......

The 8 rivers are Colorado,Indus,Amu Darya,Rio grande,yellow river,Teesta River and Murray river.....

is being overused .due to agriculture,municipal and industrial uses.But India and Pakistan are cooperating in water issues in very good way for river Indus.Aral sea deprived of major source of water ,it was reduced to small lakes.Millions of fishes died..
