Introduction to me

Hi all

Thought I would give you a brief introduction to my webtv and what i'm hoping to keep you updated with.

At the moment I'm working on a project "BUG"! A short film... I won't tell you the synopsis yet, but I am currently in the scripting stages and hoping to move into pre production with this shortly, with Sorcha Anglim, a friend of mine helping to produce it. Watch this space for more on this!

I am also hoping to give you a bit of an insight into what I do as a commercials director. Over a year ago I was signed to a company called 'BlackJack Films', who have now changed their name to 'Buddy London'. I am currently building my reel as a commercials director, having directed quite a few internet viral's, and one or two commercials also!

My most recent project was a 'Gatorade' viral! Working with 'Sky Riders' with Alex Dowsett. It was my first time teaming up with another director, 'Chris Watson Wood', and we had the job of creating the atmosphere and feeling of a 'Tour De France' type race... on a track in England... all from one shot, from the perspective of a gatorade bottle!

This was a tightly choreographed shoot as it was from one shot, all on a gopro HD and all shot in one day with the help of 17 cyclists. This camera gave us the flexibility to be able to do this, unlike no other camera could have done. We were able to actually strap the go pro to the bottle... and throw it around, but everything we threw at it, it survived! Go Pro is still an amazing little camera, for the quality and durability compared to the price... can't really go wrong. We battled off the British May showers to get it all shot within the 9 hour day in Surrey. Watch this space... I will blog the link as soon as its out!

Following this me and Chris will be building our collaborative showreel of work. We think becoming a team of directors (as well as doing some solo projects) could give us more of a variety of work, and that extra selling point for the two of us! We are also in the early stages of developing a short film, and with Chris's additional talent of VFX, the possibilities are endless...
