Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is also known as the Pink City. It is one of the most beautiful cities in India and was ranked 7th as the most favorite and visited place of Tourist. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded this city in the year 1727. The Places in Jaipur are historical. Hawa Mahal built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. This is a five-storey building with its 953 windows look like honeycomb. The second best place to visit in Jaipur is the Jal Mahal, built in 18th century by the Maharaja Jai Singh II in the middle of the Man Lake. It is situated in the Valley of Nahargarh Hills. The Other place to visit is City Palace; it is the complex of palace including two most beautiful palaces Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. This complex was the seat of the Maharaja. A part of the Chandra Mahal is now a museum but the major part of the palace is still a Royal Residence. Jantar Mantar is the instrument to measure time of the day, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century. Maharaja built total five Jantar Mantar in India including Delhi, Jaipur, Ujjain, Varanasi and Mathura. Jaipur is the worth to visit at least once.
