Lack of Education in Afghanistan

Education is the key of prosperity in a society.  Education plays an important and significant role in elevating of knowledge of people.   I can say, that all progression in a country is depend on percentage of educated people, who live a society. Lack of Education cases different kinds of problems in each country. such as civil war, poverty, unemployment, anarchy and low economic situation etc.

Unfortunately in 3-last decades of civil war in Afghanistan, almost more than 90% of Educational infrastructures (building of schools, textbooks) intentionally were burned by enemies of Education as well as during the civil war.  for a long period of time schools were closed in all provinces, which there was civil war. The people, who were living in war provinces. Educational circumstance was not ready to them to study and continue their education to obtain their future aims.  , so you know better, that educated persons can play a significant role in renovation of Educational section, social and economical sectors. Lack of Education created lots of problems for girls of Afghanistan. Put them in the darkness especially during 1990s. View point of constitution of Afghanistan “all people have equal rights to study and elementary and secondary period is compulsory for all boys and girls”. The expenditure of studying in Afghanistan is free of cost. It helps people to study and get educated.  Since 2002m I am an eyewitness of improvements in education sector of Afghanistan. Ministry of Education established new schools approximately in all over the country. New text books in good quality and updated materials were published in India, Indonesia and Dubai by expenditure of ministry of education of Afghanistan. New curriculum was made by pedagogy experts. Educational curriculum of Afghanistan was updated.

Old materials were changed by education professionals, while making new curriculum. Number of new participants of education yearly has increased. People are ready to enroll their children in schools. The age of participating in Afghanistan schools is 7 years old. During current decade lack of Education decreased. Now in each parts of Afghanistan I mean remote villages people have the right to study. But talent of Educational issues in all schools is not the same.

One of very important things in villages, which motivated people to take an active part in protecting their schools and let their children to go to school, was foods donated by NGOs to the people of villages. This food support program for student of schools continued about two years until people motivated and understood about the role and benefits of Education in their live.  Government of Afghanistan after 2002 attracted the attention of international community in education sector. Because there was lack of education in the country, that cased civil devastating war. Therefore yearly more than twenty five percent of all expenditure of Afghanistan Government is allocated to Education quality improvement program in Education sector.  I hope in the near future maybe five years lack of education will be solved in our   country Afghanistan.  I am looking forward of getting better education all over Afghanistan. I can say , the main factor of lack of Education in Afghanistan is civil war!
