We studied about rocks and their types but we wanted to see different types of rocks in the field .Field work is very important in the field of geology..For this purpose our university arranger a study tour of Harnoi Abbotabad.            It was Thursday morning when we start our tour.our respectable teachers were also with us..We gathered in university at 8 o clock and started journey from our university..in the way we had joke and enjoyed fun..we enjoyed music and dancing.after 2 hours we reached at our destination.it was first field day for all of us because we were new in geology so we had good feelings and more expectation about field..first our sir gave us a lecture about importance of such field days for a student.then he told us about rocks that we were observing.. we listened carefully and asked some questions from teacher.now it was 12 o clock we felt hungry so ate meal that we were having in our bags.there we observed flowing water and geology involved there .then we took pictures with our friend and teachers.We really enjoyed that. these were picture of that tour. • We took pictures of some rocks also. Then we started our return back journey to Haripur. We really really enjoyed that field day and learnt a lot of things from that first field day..i”ll write about my next field day soon in coming days. i advice to all those  who are in the field of geology must plan such tours to make theoraticall study effective
