Pakistan Army
The Pakistan army is the most power full among all armed forces of Pakistan. Its main duty is land base military operations. After patrician in 1947 the independence of Pakistan the army come into being. at the moment the Pakistan is lead by General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani .the army in the Pakistan is fighting force after 1947 Pakistan army fought four wars with India now there is cease fire agreement on LOC this is because of disputed tertiary of Kashmir and also border fights continues with neighbouring country Afghanistan .the Pakistan also provide brigade and division support to Arab countries in Arab Israel wars. also helped them in gulf war .now Pakistan army fought in operations Rah- e- Nijat and Lion heart against terrorists in FATA
Pakistan army is the part of UN peace mission and Pakistan army is in largest numbers almost 10,000 soldiers were the part of peace mission in African countries .The Pakistani president is the supreme commander of Armed forces and head of army is called as chief of army staff and four stars generals are subordinate of Defense minister by status the main purpose of army in Pakistan according to constitution under the orders of Federal Government ,the army will protect Pakistan from external violence and threat
With regard to command structure the chief of army staff or head of army works from the general head quarters situated in Rawalpindi and army chief command 11 cores and ISI, MI and their heads but according to 18th amendment now these post are appointed by prime minister of Pakistan almost 14 chiefs commands the Pakistan army since 1947.the field marshal ayub khan was first Muslim army chief of Pakistan army also ruled the country over 33 years by military intervene although most of officers Pakistan are Muslim but they are under Christians officers up to 1970 now there many non Muslims were also in army as officers
