When Mr. Catwoman and I went to Sam's Club this past Friday, the nice ladies who pass out samplesof food and drinks were out in full force. I was surprised, for I thought they only manned the food stations on the weekends.
A variety of baked goods were available to be sampled. Of course, I had to sample each one. Mr. Catwoman kept asking me if I wanted a box of cookies, cakes or what else they were peddling. I kept saying no, until I got to the sample of the Bakery Baron Turtle Shortbread Tarts as pictured above.
The shortbread tart shell is filled with a soft, creamy caramel, topped with chopped pecans and drizzled with strips of chocolate. Each tart measures 1 3/4" in diameter and there are twenty tarts to a tray. I picked up two trays; one to eat now and one to take to my sister's Christmas party.
There's only one problem with the Bakery Baron Turtle Shortbread Tarts - You can't stop at eating just one!
