The Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa

Iceland country is situated between north Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. In addition, the Blue Lagoon is the most visited attraction in Iceland.  Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa situated in the lava field of Grindavik. In the year, 1976 a pool was formed near the geothermal power plant. The people nearby locality started using the pool in 1981. After somewhat 11 years in 1992, the Blue lagoon company was established. In addition, the pool was publically opened. The warm water of this geothermal spa is rich in minerals, minerals like silica and sulphur, which helps to cure the patient of skin disease. The temperature of water is between 37 to 40 degrees. It is a man made pool made from the water comes from the nearby geothermal plant. The water of the spa is renewed in every two days. Iceland is well known for its strict code of hygiene so there is no need of worrying about the hygiene part as the guests has to take shower before and after entering or leaving the pool. Because of its rich mineral concentration, the water of spa cannot be recycled and it disposed in landscape nearby. The blue lagoon is the best place to enjoy your vacation.
