Chole Masala
Recipe for Curry
Ingredients Quantity
1) Chole -Chick Pea 250 gram
2) Whole Garam masala
(Cinnamon 2 sticks, cardamon 4-5 nos Cumin seeds 2 tspoon)
3) Onion 4 nos
4) Garlic and Ginger Paste 4 tbsp
5) Tomato Paste 1 nos
6) Curd 4 tbsp
7) Red Chilly Powder 2 tbsp
8) Dhanya powder (Coriander powder) 2 tbsp
9) Amm Chure .(Mango powder) 1 tbsp
10) garam masala powder 1 tbsp
11) lemon 2 tbsp
12) Oil 10 tbsp
Preparation
- Take 10 tablespoon of oil and heat it.
- Add whole garam masala- cinnamon sticks,cardamom,cloves,cumin seeds and fry
- Add 4 onions (sliced thin) fry until brown
- Add garlic and ginger paste fry until paste turns brown.
- Add tomato paste .. cover the lid and keep in low flame for 1/2 hr. keep stirring in between.
- Add red chilly pwdr, dhanya pwdr, amm chure pdwr and garam masala keep stirring for 5-6 mins then add lemon extract.
heck the texture of the masala which turns thick also you will see oil gets separated, now add Chole. Pressure cook along with masala until you get 20 pressure cooker whistle.
wait till pressure is released.
- Finally add little curd 2 tspoon and keep stirring so that it mixes well.
