ASOS at ILM/LucasFilm

A couple weeks ago we started the 15th Animation Show of Shows tour in San Francisco!

The Animation Show of Shows also know as ASOS is a showcase of the best animated films from the festival circuit, hand picked by Ron Diamond, animation producer, owner of Acme Filmworks and co-founder of AWN.

The first screening was held at ILM/LucasFilm where we had a good Q&A session with me and the other filmmakers. The other directors who were present were Ula Aronova with My Mom is an Airplane! Thomas Bourdis with Ascension and David Barlow-Krelina with Bless You. I got some cool questions about my water ink technique.

After the screening we had a tour and took a bunch of pictures of the statues and memorabilia.

Jurassic Dino was most welcoming.

Solo and Jar Jar both frozen side by side, LOL!

 Lego Lucas!

I still love the Rocketeer.

R2D2!! And a little digital post work to give some "authenticity" to my gun pose.

Mmm! Fountain Yoda, good luck, he brings!
