My Prayer

Posted on at

Dear God, my Heavenly Father

I ask that you forgive me for my sins. The sins in which I didn't know that I was committing but were wrong, and the sins that I committed that I knew full well were against your word.

I ask you God to revive your great gift to us, which is our country of Canada, let us never forget our heritage, and may our heritage arise strong once again.

Keep the Lords prayer in our schools and let this freedom never be taken from us ever!

I pray that no nation that doesn't know your name ever overcomes our true identity as you have dominion from sea to sea.

Heavenly Father let us never stray away from your purpose for us.

Keep us as your healing people of the earth.

Oh heavenly Father, give all of us wisdom and knowledge so that we can be borrowers and not lenders.

Clean up our skies, and replenish our lands as it was from the beginning.

Let our sons and daughters reap the benefits of the right decisions of their past fathers, and not just have them clean up our mess.

Oh Lord, keep reminding us who the real enemy is in this world as your battle is not in the flesh. Although this battle sometimes turns into spilled blood, let us forgive our enemies.

We ask that you continue to show us how to stay true and humble as we need to be reminded that our battles should always be guided through you.

Keep showing us your unconditional love, and show us how to love others just the same on a daily basis.

If there's war, let it be declared as a nation under God, and not a nation under tyranny.

Take our media and let Your name be openly declared through it.

Take the cross, and let it constantly be in our view to remind us all of your unconditional love for Canada, and to remind us of the freedom that came with your package.

Let us never forget our forefathers who dropped everything, and sacrificed their lives so that I and others were able to hear the gospel and worship with out persecution.

Dear Heavenly Father, our country has been through a lot and we're still standing, we want to thank you as a country for sticking with us through it all.

I pray that all who come to this land who don't know Your name will fully accept Your name and choose you as their God as you are the true Almighty creator of the universe.

I also pray for those who were raised in this land, but don't know your name. We pray that they will surrender to you.

Dear Heavenly Father I pray for our neighbors to the south as they are a nation under the same God.

I pray that you replenish their land, clear their skies, and heal their people.

Let us all stand united, as a divided country is already a defeated country.

A country with no foundation is just a piece of land with a name, so I ask you Lord please stand firm in Canada, and stand on guard for Canada as we vow to stand on guard for Thee.

Take our manipulated minds and restore them.

I pray for all the men, women, and children of all the world Lord as there is much suffering in the world. I pray that your presence is with each and every individual bringing peace to all of mankind through any trial and tribulation.

I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen!

I'm going to bring up one of my favorite parts of the Bible which I like to reflect on every so often.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 - 8

1: There is a time for everything

and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2: a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3: a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,

4: a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5: a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6: a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7: a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8: a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

You can take these simple verses and reflect on them however you feel.
