Princes Trust work experience

Posted on at

Last year during my first year of film making I worked with a crew from my year to create a film about the work that The Princes Trust were doing at the Middleport Pottery factory. For those of you that don't know this is a historical place where pottery has been made for decades and decades and is in fact still a working factory, The Princes Trust work closely with a lot of buildings all over the country to regenerate them so they are not demolished and to ensure that the heritage and history is preserved.

It was a great experience working for a client and working to certain deadlines and specifications, one of us actually got to film Prince Charles himself as he visits the factory fairly regularly when they hold meetings. It was fun and gave me a chance to see what work is like outside of university, a lot more hours, a lot more work and i love it! I want to make it in this industry because it's what will get me up every morning knowing i'm never going to regret my career path.
