Work Experience Update

Today I filmed for Unique a charity project that involved unexperienced dancers partner up to dance for charity, I have spent six days in the past 6 weeks filming the dancers rehearsing and being trained two different dances each by a professional at the Michelle dance studios.

It was a good experience to be left on location independently with only one other member of crew to capture what footage the employer has requested, this put a great deal of responsibility on us as nothing could go wrong on our behalf other wise the whole project would be ruined. It was good to experience that kind of pressure and also working with a client you have never met before, it was exciting and a thrill to see how well receipted we were by the clients even though some days I turned up the dancers had cancelled and I hadn’t been told, meaning a wasted journey but it was all part of the experience and a could chance to learn how to deal with that.
