Visual effects or VFX have become a standard thing in almost any movie or tv show, the capabilities of VFX now are limitless with new methods and technologies coming out every year visual effects have become unstoppable.

 

A couple of years ago VFX were only done by big budget studios since VFX costs alot of money to produce but now with massive increase of free and paid online tutorials you can find everywhere online, anyone with the will and intent to learn something can and will.

 

Also the capabilities of programs like Adobe After Effects, NUKE, Blender, Maya, and many more increasing and allowing low budget independent movies to produce brilliant grade A VFX.

 

For me this is something great since I am an independent filmmaker and I love VFX so now I am able to combine both to produce pretty good results.

 

I can't wait to see how this develops more with the coming years !
