Hi everyone! We are so glad to introduce you our new stop motion short film. "ENCO, TRAVESIAS A VAPOR". This short film is co-directed by Gabriela Salgueiro and me. We are in the final part of the shooting process and we are going to have the avant premiere on November. The short film uses articulated puppets, stages and characters designed especially for the project. The main objective is the recognition to the value of the tangible heritage and intangible through the rescue of the local and historical characteristics of Choshuenco, Panguipulli. In this short film converge the history of an old ship that still exists near the lake, and the powerful imagination of a boy(Tito), who transforms the routine of the reality in something magic. His argument explains the history of a boy called Tito, that with his parents, travels to Panguipulli to the town of Choshuenco, in the south of Chile. In the bank of the lake, the steam Enco is abandoned. Tito with his navigator spirit, guided by a curious cat, goes inside this ship. Step to step, the reality and the imagination of the boy mix everything, and reconstructs the moments that gave life to the craft in his years of glory.
