Our first Featured Film !!!

Well, this post is just to tell you how happy we are here, because we got the money to make the pre-production of our firs featured film.

Green Grass is a movie that shows the story of Kondo, a young Japanese man that lives in a overwhelming routine. One day he realizes about his way of living and decides to change de forma radical, then he arrives to Puerto Montt, in the south of Chile. There nothing happened as he had planned, but eventually he manages to adapt to his new life and finally with a big change in his mind he goes back to Tokyo.

This film is based on a topic that affects us all equally, regardless of the social class, the work or our age, we talk about the desire to change everything and start in a new place, with new people, a new job, school, neighborhood, etc... Based on this experience is that "Green Grass" shows a discourse that tries to promote the human need to make changes from inside and understand that harmony is not only in the physical act of make changes.

This project was born in 2010 Cannes festival. There borns the link to the Japanese actor and director Ishizaki Masataka, we established a kind of very powerful nonverbal communication, and we realized we had many similarities and some others very opposite things. Then we realized that our hometowns(Puerto Montt and Tokyo) are nearly complementary opposite places.

"Green Grass" is  based on the life of a young Japanese-defined by concept of "No concept man". This is a type of character known as the typical person without any interest, that only lives, he can have a job, studies and lead a normal life, but no goals or specific interests.

Based on the above, we define three fundamental levels in the narrative construction, first, the universality of our issues, second, the communication, moving it beyond of the spoken word, and finally the documentary rescue of our hometowns,  Puerto Montt and Tokyo. Besides having a particular treatment that rescues irony and black humor with fictional images and animated "stop motion" across all the movie.

Based on al this points and being aware of the magnitude of the proposed project, it is essential to have access to training and development instances of projects to raise a solid co-production with the requirements of  "Green Grass".
