The life of bacteria

Posted on at

Three hundred years ago, a Dutchman had seen bacteria through microscope which makes objects appear much larger than they really are. But actually Pasture, a Frenchman born in 1822, told the world hat these tiny creatures did to man.

They actually mad man sick most of them if not all of them. If we look at the bacteria of cholera or T.B through a microscope, we can see that they are not only alive but also their movements of one bacterium through our eyes. Bacteria have different forms and also differ in their habits as well as their effects on man. A bacterium grows into two after some time and both of them again become two each. The bacteria of cholera become double in half an hour and grow to over one million (1024000) in only ten hours. They are so small that they can live in ten hours. They are so small that they can live in thousands in one drop of milk and millions in one cup of milk.

Bacteria only live in body. If the body, where they are living is dried up, they form little spores (germs) in their centre and let their outer part die. They move with the winds. If they find another suitable body they began living there. That is why if you keep milk for some time it is bound to become sour.

Some bacteria are very useful and used in the fermentation process and also helps in the food digestion and those bacteria live in the small instine of human body. If these bacteria become finished the man becomes uncomfortable.
